 WHAT IS LEMONGRASS?

Lemongrass is a perennial plant, growing in a bush 0.8 m to 1 m  high. The leaves and oil can be used to make medicine. It has a very specific, strong, unique scent thanks to the large amount of essential oils contained. Lemongrass contains 1-2% essential oil with light yellow color and lemon aroma.  The main ingredients of essential oil  are citral and geraniol.

The Mid Autumn Festival is special time, like a date between the moon and people from thousands of years ago.

Mid Autumn Festival is an occasion for family members to celebrate,  enjoy tea, and admire the bright moonlight together. Children are jubilantly excited by colorful lanterns.

According to Vietnamese custom, Doan Ngo is the second biggest festival and is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar Vietnamese calendar. Doan Ngo is the moment when the sun is nearest the earth.
